Sweden's national reform programme 2012

The Europe 2020 Strategy is since June 2012 the EU's common strategy for growth and jobs. Members States are to prepare annual national reform programmes that present the implementation of the strategy in the national policy. In accordance with the new annual cycle for improved economic policy coordination within the EU (the European semester), the programme is to be submitted to the European Commission together with the stability or convergence programme in April each year. Sweden's national reform programme 2012 is based on the measures announced in the Budget Bill for 2012 and the 2012 Spring Fiscal Policy Bill. The Riksdag Committee on Finance has received information about the programme.
