Prime Minister Stefan Löfven received the President of Colombia

On 15 June, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven received Colombia’s President Juan Manuel Santos at Rosenbad. The agenda included the peace process in Colombia, multilateral cooperation and trade relations.
After the meeting, Mr Löfven hosted a working dinner with members of the government of both countries, and representatives of the business sector and the social partners.
Mr Santos has been President of Colombia since 2010; he was re-elected in 2014 for a second term of office. He has initiated peace negotiations with the FARC guerrilla movement.
