Published

When the 28 EU heads of state and government gather for the European Council meeting on 28–29 June, focus will be on the outcome of the UK referendum on EU membership. Other issues to be addressed include migration, deepening of the single market for more jobs and to boost growth, and EU’s cooperation with NATO.

UK Prime Minister David Cameron will take part during the first day of the meeting, Tuesday 28 June. The next day, the other 27 Member States will gather for an informal meeting to discuss the EU's future handling of the UK issue.
