5.5 Military attachés

Missions should request the approval of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs before appointing military attachés. The name and CV of the military attaché should be submitted to the Protocol Department well in advance of the appointment.

A non-resident military attaché seeks approval according to the same procedure as a resident military attaché.
