Prime Minister Stefan Löfven to receive Latvian President Egils Levits
On Tuesday 22 June 2021, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven will receive Latvian President Egils Levits. They will discuss matters including relations between the two countries, the security situation in the neighbourhood, management of the COVID-19 pandemic and EU matters such as the rule of law.
Mr Levits is visiting Sweden in recognition of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Sweden and Latvia and to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of diplomatic relations.
During his visit, Mr Levits will also be received at an audience with HM The King, and meet Speaker of the Riksdag Andreas Norlén.
Mr Levits will then move on to Uppsala, where he will visit Uppsala University and meet County Governor Göran Enander.
