Swedish experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the whole world and represents a global challenge the likes of which we have not seen for decades. All affected countries are now trying to solve the crisis with as few negative consequences as possible for people’s lives and health.

The state of knowledge is changing all the time and the measures are being improved and adapted accordingly. We would like to explain more about how Sweden is managing and has managed the COVID-19 pandemic so far.

In the online videos, Sweden’s Minister for Health and Social Affairs Lena Hallengren and the directors-general of the responsible agencies – Olivia Wigzell at the National Board of Health and Welfare and Johan Carlson at the Public Health Agency of Sweden ­– explain how Sweden has managed the COVID-19 pandemic.
