Strategy for Sweden’s global development cooperation on sustainable economic development 2022–2026

The strategy will apply to the period 2022–2026 and provide a total of SEK 4.3 billion for activities implemented by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).

The objective of Sweden’s international development assistance is to create conditions to improve the lives of people living in poverty and oppression.
Development cooperation is based on the principles of aid and development effectiveness, the 2030 Agenda, the Addis Ababa Action Agenda and the Paris Agreement.
