Minister for Foreign Affairs visits Bosnia and Herzegovina
Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard travelled to Bosnia and Herzegovina on 10–11 July to attend a memorial ceremony marking the International Day of Reflection and Commemoration of the 1995 Genocide in Srebrenica. Thirty years have passed since the genocide and the subsequent conclusion of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which brought the war to an end.

Minister for Foreign Affairs to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina
Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard will travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina on 10–11 July to attend a memorial ceremony marking the International Day of Reflection and Commemoration of the 1995 Genocide in Srebrenica. During the visit, Ms Malmer Stenergard will also meet with Bosnian representatives.

Sweden supports Ukraine through the IAEA
The Government has decided to provide SEK 20 million to the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) nuclear safety and security missions in Ukraine in 2025. Support to the IAEA’s work aligns with the Government’s overarching goal of supporting Ukraine in light of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

NATO Summit in The Hague
On 24–25 June, the NATO Summit took place in The Hague. Sweden was represented by Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard and Minister for Defence Pål Jonson. The focus of the Summit was the serious security situation and the need for increased investment in deterrence and defence.

Maria Malmer Stenergard visits International Criminal Court in The Hague
On 24 June, Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard is visiting the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague. She is meeting with ICC President Tomoko Akane, First Vice-President Rosario Salvatore Aitala and Registrar Osvaldo Zavala Giler. She will also meet with Swedes who work at the ICC as seconded staff. The aim of the visit is to express Sweden’s support of the ICC’s work and discuss how the international community can ensure its continued operation.

Sweden signs agreement with US on advanced space technology
