Pål Jonson to take part in Hanating 2025 and visit Björneborg brigade

On Tuesday 30 September, Minister for Defence Pål Jonson will take part in the 2025 Hanating security and defence policy forum and visit the Björneborg brigade in Finland.
Mr Jonson will deliver a speech at the forum and take part in a panel discussion with Finland’s Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen. The theme for the panel is the threats facing the Baltic Sea region and how collective initiatives can counter them.
After the forum, the two defence ministers will pay a visit to the Björneborg brigade and Rauma Marine Constructions, where they will have the opportunity to become more familiar with the development of Finland’s new combat vessels and rocket artillery.
