Nina Larsson new Minister for Gender Equality and Working Life

Nina Larsson has a background as a career officer and member of the Riksdag. She has also previously worked as a party secretary.

“I’m proud to have been appointed Minister for Gender Equality and Working Life at a time when gender equality is under attack. With my background as an officer, I know that gender equality is worth defending. Religious extremists and other conservative forces are threatening liberal values, and that is something we must never accept,” says Nina Larsson.

Katarina Lundahl will continue in her current role as State Secretary to the Minister for Gender Equality and Working Life.
