6.5 Organisation registration number

An organisation registration number is useful for an international organisation in Sweden in order to be identified, for instance when opening a bank account in Sweden.

There is no specific form for applying for an organisation registration number. Instead the application, which is sent to the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket), should include documents verifying the establishment/existence of the organisation and stating the person/s authorised to sign for the organisation, details about the organisation, contacts details, etc.
