20.3.1 Medical insurances

Diplomatic staff are not covered by the subsidised health care system, even if they have a Swedish personal identity number.

Some insurance providers offer medical insurance to non-residents.

To be eligible for health insurance, the client has to complete a health declaration or undergo a full medical examination. The insurance company has an agreement with a medical company that will perform the medical examination.
