Sweden’s Minister for Defence and EU Commissioner for Defence and Space to visit Saab in Linköping

Together with Swedish Minister for Defence Pål Jonson, European Commissioner for Defence and Space Andrius Kubilius will visit Stockholm and Linköping on 26–27 March 2026. In Linköping, they will visit Saab to discuss Swedish missile capability and tour its operations. They will also view the GlobalEye aircraft system.
Mr Kubilius is currently on a visiting tour of EU Member States to promote increased production and faster deliveries of missiles, both to Ukraine and to the EU’s own stockpiles. Ukraine is highly dependent on missiles in order to defend itself against Russia. On Thursday and Friday 26–27 March, Mr Kubilius will visit Stockholm and Linköping for this purpose.
